Self taught hand lettering artist and illustrator, Eva Marie Taylor, is a wife and stay-at-home mom to two beautiful children, living in small town Indiana. She spent her youth developing her artistic talent in art classes taught at school and dreamed of becoming a working artist. With no formal art training and a business degree, she started her first handmade business in 2011 that began as a creative outlet with a dream of getting to pursue her creative passions while raising her babies at home. What is Galentine's Day? Only the best day of the year! Coined by popular TV character Leslie Knope of NBC's Parks and Recreation, Galentine s Day has become a widespread holiday for celebrating the special women in your life on February 13th or any day of the year. It's all about ladies celebrating ladies. Tear out, color, and share fun, thoughtful messages, such as:
•Sisters before misters
•You are one boss babe
•I love you more than breakfast food
•You're the chicken to my waffle

I wasn't sure what was meant by 'card' as I wanted to mail them, but think of them as large post cards. They required a normal letter stamp. Lots of different designs, some allow more coloring than others. Do believe they will be a welcome Gal-entines surprise for my female friends a farThoughtful, fun, and perfect for friends of any age These are so cute! I love the idea of being able to color in a card for your friends--the best of the coloring book trend combined with a thoughtful gesture. The cards come out easily and are on thick cardstock, so you don't have to worry about them breaking if you send them through the mail. My wife is going to send one right now--no need to wait until Galentine's Day, really.The messages on the cards vary a lot and should be appropriate for almost any lady in your life. Same with the illustrations. There's flowery ones, and there's ones that feature breakfast food, and one that praises the recipient for being a "clever, tenacious warrior". These would be great for a young girl you want to encourage or send a birthday card to or something, while avoiding the sappy Hallmark stuff.Share with your favorite people! I like coloring, I like things that are clever, and I like handmade gifts, so this book is right up my alley.First off, the designs are so cute! There is such an array, I am able to find just the right card for each of my girlfriends. Actually, several of the designs work for just about anyone so I plan on giving a couple to guy friends of mine. The very first design is “Donut stop believing” -PUNNY- and I already know which of my donut obsessed friends is getting this one!Not only did illustrator Eva create some great script designs and fun illustrations, there is space on the back of each card to create a personal message to each “Galentine.” It’s a more personal thing to share with friends than store bought cards. Taking the time to color and write a personal message really shows you care.Some of Eva’s designs work on other occasions. Maybe just as a YOU GO GIRL boost to your best gals when they need a pick-up or whenever the mood strikes. As one design says “Ladies Celebrating Ladies.” I’m all about it.
